Four Carnegie Mellon University athletes were honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) when the organization announced its weekly award winners this week. From women's cross country senior Aparna Alavilli (Hanover, N.H./Hanover) and freshman Parvathi Meyyappan (Cupertino, Calif./Monta Vista), from women's soccer freshman Carolyn Botz (St. Louis, Mo./Micds) and from volleyball sophomore Kayla Yew (San Francisco, Calif./Sacred Heart Cathedral).
