Newly appointed head men s and women s track and field coach Gary Aldrich of Carnegie Mellon University was honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) with outstanding regional recognition. Aldrich, who was named the acting head coach in November following the retirement of Dario Donatelli and then named head coach a month ago, was named Men s Mideast Head Coach of the Year.
