Senior Thomas Vandenberg (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) of the Carnegie Mellon University men s indoor track and field team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week for running events following his performance in helping the Tartans to a first-place team finish at the 12 team Lid-Lifter Invitational held at Denison University on Saturday, January 24.
